The VEC has been a strong supporter of KGI’s Richmond Emerging Aboriginal Leaders (REAL) program since it was established in 2011.
Throughout the REAL program, the VEC deliver sessions in which young people learn about government and democracy, explore how to make positive change on local community issues, and how to enroll and vote.
Each year the VEC also sponsors an Indigenous team from KGI to participant in the Victorian Youth Parliament program.
